We are very excited about your participation in our campaign to organize the 15,000 workers at UPS Freight, formerly Overnite. We are calling this member mobilization and education drive “One Company, One Union.”

To make this effort successful, we need all UPS Teamsters and freight Teamsters who are likely to cross paths with UPS Freight workers to take an active role. If you haven’t received one already, please ask your steward or your local union for an information card to hand out to any UPS Freight worker you come across out on the road.

In addition to handing out a card, we’re asking that you take a few minutes to tell UPS Freight workers about the benefits of being in the union. Please urge your coworkers to participate in this vital campaign to provide a strong voice to UPS Freight workers.

This campaign is important to all Teamsters. It is crucial that we organize if the Teamsters are to remain the strongest voice for working people. I am working closely with Parcel and Small Package Director Ken Hall and National Freight Director Tyson Johnson on this campaign.

I am confident that you, our UPS Teamsters and freight Teamsters, will help make this campaign a success.

Let’s organize UPS Freight and give the workers the brighter futures that they deserve.

Fraternally,

James P. Hoffa
General President
